class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A Rede Conex\u00f5es Amaz\u00f4nicas nasceu em 2019, um ano marcado por imagens de uma Amaz\u00f4nia em chamas. A partir desse cen\u00e1rio desesperador, estudantes, professores(as) e pesquisadores(as), de diferentes \u00e1reas e interessados(as) pela Amaz\u00f4nia, decidiram se reunir na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul &#8211; UFRGS.<\/p><p>A uni\u00e3o entre bi\u00f3logos(as), engenheiros(as), ge\u00f3logos(as), soci\u00f3logos(as) e jornalistas resultou em um evento de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica chamado <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conexoesamazonicas.org\/en\/conexoes-amazonicas-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conex\u00f5es Amaz\u00f4nicas UFRGS<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Foi uma forma de mostrar, sob outra perspectiva, a \u201cAmaz\u00f4nia em chamas\u201d dos notici\u00e1rios. A pandemia da covid-19 mudou radicalmente a rotina de muitas pessoas. O negacionismo cient\u00edfico escancarou a necessidade de romper a barreira da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o entre cientistas e p\u00fablico geral. Nesse contexto, as conex\u00f5es virtuais se intensificaram e, assim, desenvolvemos nossas primeiras linhas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o: editorial e comunica\u00e7\u00e3o. Lan\u00e7amos o desafio para que cientistas explicassem suas pesquisas em textos simples, sucintos e com imagens atrativas. Realizamos um evento online chamado <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/conexoesamazonicas.org\/en\/amazonia-interdisciplinar-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amaz\u00f4nia Interdisciplinar<\/a><\/span><\/strong> e participamos de eventos externos divulgando a ci\u00eancia sobre a Amaz\u00f4nia. Firmamos parceria com duas institui\u00e7\u00f5es: Museu do Amanh\u00e3 e Portal da Amaz\u00f4nia.
