Esta regi\u00e3o \u00e9 pressionada pelo processo de degrada\u00e7\u00e3o florestal, que vem se agravando com a extra\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal de madeira e outras atividades ligadas \u00e0 agropecu\u00e1ria ao longo das duas principais rodovias que cortam o local.<\/p><p>De acordo com o\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/fire6010002\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">estudo publicado<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0por pesquisadores do Centro Nacional de Monitoramento e Alertas de Desastres Naturais (<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/cemaden\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEMADEN<\/a><\/span><\/strong>) e do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amaz\u00f4nia (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/inpa\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INPA<\/a><\/strong><\/span>) na revista cient\u00edfica <em>Fire<\/em>, os inc\u00eandios atingiram 4.141 km\u00b2 de floresta, sendo 3.999 km\u00b2 de \u00e1reas de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa (floresta prim\u00e1ria) neste per\u00edodo. A varia\u00e7\u00e3o anual demonstrou que a \u00e1rea afetada pelo fogo variou de 33 km\u00b2 em 2011 at\u00e9 um pico de 681 km\u00b2 em 2019.<\/p><p>Os cientistas analisaram dados de uma regi\u00e3o localizada na nova fronteira do desmatamento dentro da <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oeco.org.br\/dicionario-ambiental\/28783-o-que-e-a-amazonia-legal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amaz\u00f4nia Legal brasileira<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. O estudo focou no munic\u00edpio de Boca do Acre (AM) e seu entorno considerando uma extens\u00e3o de 25 km, o que inclui parte dos munic\u00edpios de L\u00e1brea (5%), Pauini (19%), Acrel\u00e2ndia (2%), Senador Guiomard (16%), Porto Acre (79%), Bujari (28%), Sena Madureira (10%) e Manoel Urbano (14%). Esta regi\u00e3o engloba sete terras ind\u00edgenas (TIs) \u2013 Apurin\u00e3, Boca do Acre, Camicu\u00e3, Igarap\u00e9 Capana, Inauin\u00ed\/Teuin\u00ed, Peneri\/Tacaquiri e Seruini\/Mariene \u2013 e tr\u00eas unidades de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o (UCs) \u2013 Reserva Extrativista Arapixi, Mapi\u00e1-Inauin\u00ed e a Floresta Nacional do Purus.<\/p><p>A pesquisa mostrou que a perda da floresta por degrada\u00e7\u00e3o tende a aumentar a ocorr\u00eancia de inc\u00eandios, resultando em uma transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da paisagem de floresta para trechos agr\u00edcolas e de pastagens. De acordo com a pesquisa, isso ocorre principalmente pr\u00f3ximos \u00e0s rodovias BR-317\/364 e dentro das propriedades rurais, conforme registrado no Cadastro Ambiental Rural (<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipaam.am.gov.br\/cadastro-ambiental-rural-car\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CAR<\/a><\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0<\/p><blockquote><p><strong>Fatores meteorol\u00f3gicos, como o agravamento da esta\u00e7\u00e3o seca, influenciaram na propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do fogo, principalmente em regi\u00f5es pr\u00f3ximas a \u00e1reas recentes de desmatamento, funcionando como combust\u00edvel para as queimadas devido ao ac\u00famulo de mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p>Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram um r\u00e1pido e cont\u00ednuo crescimento de \u00e1reas afetadas pelo fogo dentro de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipam.org.br\/florestas-publicas-nao-destinadas-ameacam-conservacao-da-amazonia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><u>florestas p\u00fablicas n\u00e3o destinadas<\/u><\/b><\/a>, principalmente a partir de 2012, com a aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pp.nexojornal.com.br\/perguntas-que-a-ciencia-ja-respondeu\/2020\/08\/05\/o-novo-codigo-florestal-explicado-em-12-pontos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Novo C\u00f3digo Florestal<\/b><\/a><\/span>.
