Al\u00e9m do mais, a estimativa das chuvas \u00e9 importante para a gest\u00e3o de recursos h\u00eddricos e permite o planejamento de usos da \u00e1gua como o abastecimento p\u00fablico, agricultura e gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia. A medi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 dada em mil\u00edmetros, que representa a altura de \u00e1gua que acumula em uma dada \u00e1rea, sendo que cada unidade de mil\u00edmetro de chuva corresponde a 1 litro de \u00e1gua em uma \u00e1rea de 1 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Entretanto, para algumas regi\u00f5es, como a floresta amaz\u00f4nica, a rede de observa\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 insuficiente para representar a varia\u00e7\u00e3o do comportamento da chuva ao longo de toda sua extens\u00e3o. Esta limita\u00e7\u00e3o ocorre pela dificuldade de manter essas esta\u00e7\u00f5es pluviom\u00e9tricas funcionais e instalar novas esta\u00e7\u00f5es, principalmente por existirem \u00e1reas que s\u00e3o remotas e\/ou de dif\u00edcil acesso. Fonte:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/content\/goddard\/meet-the-members-of-nasas-gpm-constellation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASA<\/a><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c3c9bc6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"c3c9bc6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2bd9bcd3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2bd9bcd3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Os dados de chuva estimados por sensoriamento remoto podem ser obtidos e observados\u00a0 atrav\u00e9s de sites como a plataforma Giovanni (GES-DISC Interactive Online Visualization ANd aNalysis Infrastructure) da NASA (<a href=\"https:\/\/giovanni.gsfc.nasa.gov\/giovanni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acesse aqui<\/a>), e com isso a chuva pode ser analisada e quantificada atrav\u00e9s um\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.santiagoecintra.com.br\/blog\/geo-tecnologias\/o-que-e-mapeamento-gisy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sistema de informa\u00e7\u00e3o geogr\u00e1fica<\/a>\u00a0(SIG).\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 No nosso estudo \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/proceedings.science\/sbsr-2019\/papers\/precipitacao-estimada-pelo-satelite-trmm-na-regiao-do-estado-de-roraima\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Precipita\u00e7\u00e3o estimada pelo Sat\u00e9lite TRMM na regi\u00e3o do Estado de Roraima<\/a>\u201d avaliamos o uso de dados de sat\u00e9lite, comparando os dados estimados com os de 36 esta\u00e7\u00f5es pluviom\u00e9tricas, disponibilizados pela Ag\u00eancia Nacional de \u00c1guas (ANA), utilizando s\u00e9ries hist\u00f3ricas de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o de um per\u00edodo de 11 anos (2005 a 2015).\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Na figura abaixo, podemos observar que as estimativas do TRMM foram subestimadas na regi\u00e3o nordeste do estado, e superestimadas na regi\u00e3o sul, quando comparadas aos valores medidos nas esta\u00e7\u00f5es pluviom\u00e9tricas.
