Mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a import\u00e2ncia da Amaz\u00f4nia para o sistema clim\u00e1tico terrestre podem ser acessadas nestes links <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5194\/hess-22-911-2018\">(a)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3389\/feart.2018.00228\">(b)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/riosvoadores.com.br\/o-projeto\/fenomeno-dos-rios-voadores\/\">(c)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diversos estudos j\u00e1 mostraram que a floresta amaz\u00f4nica se comporta como um sumidouro de umidade da atmosfera, pois apresenta taxa de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o maior que evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o (exemplo de um estudo <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.ametsoc.org\/view\/journals\/hydr\/22\/6\/JHM-D-20-0080.1.xml\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). A umidade \u00e9 proveniente tanto da floresta tropical, quanto do transporte de umidade do oceano Atl\u00e2ntico tropical e fonte indispens\u00e1vel de energia para a gera\u00e7\u00e3o e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da circula\u00e7\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica em escalas regional e global.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No entanto, nos \u00faltimos anos a bacia Amaz\u00f4nica tem experimentado diversas mudan\u00e7as no sistema clim\u00e1tico, devido tanto \u00e0s varia\u00e7\u00f5es naturais associadas aos modos de varia\u00e7\u00e3o dos Oceanos Pac\u00edfico e Atl\u00e2ntico (El Ni\u00f1o Oscila\u00e7\u00e3o Sul \u2013 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/enos.cptec.inpe.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ENOS<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Oscila\u00e7\u00e3o Decadal do Pac\u00edfico &#8211; ODP e Oscila\u00e7\u00e3o Multidecadal do Atl\u00e2ntico \u2013 OMA), quanto \u00e0s a\u00e7\u00f5es antropog\u00eanicas decorrentes do aumento dos gases do efeito estufa (GEE\u2019s) e \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as no uso e cobertura da terra, como desflorestamento, atividades agr\u00edcolas e minera\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por exemplo, a taxa m\u00e9dia anual do desflorestamento na Amaz\u00f4nia \u00e9 da ordem de 13.800 km\u00b2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> com um total acumulado de 470.472 km\u00b2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (per\u00edodo de 1988-2021). Assim afetar os setores prim\u00e1rios da agricultura, navega\u00e7\u00e3o fluvial e gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia, com preju\u00edzos e danos aos povos e comunidades vulner\u00e1veis da Amaz\u00f4nia<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As proje\u00e7\u00f5es de mudan\u00e7as no clima proveniente das simula\u00e7\u00f5es dos Modelos Clim\u00e1ticos do<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quinto_Relat%C3%B3rio_de_Avalia%C3%A7%C3%A3o_do_Painel_Intergovernamental_sobre_Mudan%C3%A7as_Clim%C3%A1ticas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Quinto Relat\u00f3rio de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o do Painel Intergovernamental sobre Mudan\u00e7as Clim\u00e1ticas<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (IPCC) mostram redu\u00e7\u00e3o e aumento na precipita\u00e7\u00e3o em diferentes regi\u00f5es da Am\u00e9rica do Sul no fim do s\u00e9culo XXI. No entanto, as incertezas dos modelos s\u00e3o grandes devido \u00e0 enorme complexidade conceitual e pr\u00e1tica dos Modelos do Sistema Terrestre (ESM \u2013 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earth System Model, em ingl\u00eas<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) e dos Modelos Clim\u00e1ticos Regionais (RCM &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regional Climate Model, em ingl\u00eas<\/span>)<b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que t\u00eam por objetivo simular matematicamente a atmosfera, os oceanos, a biosfera, a criosfera e suas intera\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00edsicas, qu\u00edmicas e biol\u00f3gicas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Devido \u00e0 grande complexidade desses modelos em simular as intera\u00e7\u00f5es do sistema clim\u00e1tico e as v\u00e1rias incertezas geradas por eles, nossos estudos buscaram validar e avaliar os efeitos do aumento dos GEE\u2019s (cen\u00e1rio RCP 8.5) e as mudan\u00e7as na cobertura da terra nos componentes do balan\u00e7o de \u00e1gua na bacia Amaz\u00f4nica, utilizando o <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/etamodel.cptec.inpe.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">modelo regional Eta<\/a><\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for\u00e7ado com o a vers\u00e3o 2.5 do modelo <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.inpe.br\/besm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brazilian Earth System Model Ocean-Atmosphere<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ambos do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). A precipita\u00e7\u00e3o na regi\u00e3o da <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/master.iag.usp.br\/pr\/ensino\/sinotica\/aula15\/#:~:text=A%20Zona%20de%20Converg%C3%AAncia%20Intertropical,planeta%20Terra%20(Fig%201).\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zona de Converg\u00eancia Intertropical<\/a><\/strong><\/span> (ZCIT) apresentou-se enfraquecida e deslocada ao norte de sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o climatol\u00f3gica no Atl\u00e2ntico Tropical, o que produziu menos precipita\u00e7\u00e3o na bacia Amaz\u00f4nia. A figura abaixo apresenta a varia\u00e7\u00e3o sazonal da vaz\u00e3o e precipita\u00e7\u00e3o para o clima presente e cen\u00e1rios futuros de emiss\u00e3o de GEE\u2019s com desflorestamento de 2015 e com proje\u00e7\u00f5es de desflorestamento para 2050 e 2100. Nas esta\u00e7\u00f5es de Guajar\u00e1-Mirim, Porto Velho, Humait\u00e1 e Manicor\u00e9 foi observado um aumento intenso das vaz\u00f5es durante todo o ano para todos os cen\u00e1rios futuros. Entretanto, as mudan\u00e7as na vaz\u00e3o foram maiores durante o per\u00edodo de estiagem. Nestas esta\u00e7\u00f5es, o efeito das mudan\u00e7as no clima devido \u00e0 emiss\u00e3o do GEE\u2019s foi mais importante do que aquele decorrente dos cen\u00e1rios de desflorestamento (2050 e 2100). As esta\u00e7\u00f5es de Tabajara e Ariquemes est\u00e3o localizadas em afluentes do rio principal, enquanto as demais est\u00e3o posicionadas no pr\u00f3prio rio Madeira. Desta forma, o rio principal controla o escoamento em seus afluentes. Assim, quando os n\u00edveis d\u2019\u00e1gua nos grandes rios se elevam, parte do volume d\u2019\u00e1gua escoa para as respectivas plan\u00edcies de inunda\u00e7\u00e3o. Ao mesmo tempo, os pequenos afluentes s\u00e3o represados, diminuindo e muitas vezes invertendo o sentido do fluxo das vaz\u00f5es. Nestas esta\u00e7\u00f5es se observaram diferentes mudan\u00e7as para cada cen\u00e1rio futuro de emiss\u00e3o e desflorestamento.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div caracterizam um cen\u00e1rio preocupante, pois podem desencadear altera\u00e7\u00f5es significativas nos ecossistemas naturais da Amaz\u00f4nia, j\u00e1 que os mesmos n\u00e3o apresentam grande capacidade de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 magnitude das mudan\u00e7as no clima, sobretudo se estas ocorrerem em um curto intervalo de tempo.<\/p><\/blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As conclus\u00f5es alcan\u00e7adas indicam que, se o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel e as pol\u00edticas de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o agirem no sentido de deter o aumento da degrada\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental na Amaz\u00f4nia e o aumento global das emiss\u00f5es dos gases do efeito estufa, as mudan\u00e7as no ciclo da \u00e1gua podem conduzir o sistema clima-bioma a um novo estado de equil\u00edbrio, no qual um tipo diferente de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o (provavelmente <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redebrasilatual.com.br\/ambiente\/2019\/01\/amazonia-esta-se-transformando-em-cerrado-apontam-estudos\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>cerrado<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) se adaptaria \u00e0s novas condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas estabelecidas na bacia
