Ele \u00e9 composto por processos que percebemos no nosso cotidiano, como a chuva e o transporte de \u00e1gua do rio para o oceano. O fluxo da \u00e1gua que retorna para a atmosfera \u00e9 conhecido como evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o: a \u00e1gua passa do seu estado l\u00edquido para vapor devido \u00e0 transpira\u00e7\u00e3o das plantas e \u00e0 evapora\u00e7\u00e3o do solo ou de superf\u00edcies l\u00edquidas tais como oceanos e lagos. Agora, imagine medir com precis\u00e3o esse importante fluxo!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ebb8b94 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ebb8b94\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 O uso de imagens de sat\u00e9lites para estimar a evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma alternativa porque permite avalia\u00e7\u00f5es em maior escala espacial e temporal e em lugares de dif\u00edcil acesso. No estudo \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2072-4292\/12\/7\/1108\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da calibra\u00e7\u00e3o autom\u00e1tica do algoritmo SEBAL para estimar o particionamento energ\u00e9tico da superf\u00edcie no per\u00edodo seco em regi\u00e3o de transi\u00e7\u00e3o de Floresta-Cerrado no Brasil<\/a>.\u201d As estimativas de evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o com imagens de sat\u00e9lite do programa Landsat (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgs.gov\/core-science-systems\/nli\/landsat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es aqui<\/a>) foram comparadas com as estimativas obtidas utilizando dados de torres de fluxo (<a href=\"https:\/\/daac.ornl.gov\/LBA\/guides\/CD32_Brazil_Flux_Network.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es aqui<\/a>). Por exemplo, \u00e1reas de floresta apresentaram valores de evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dio de aproximadamente 4,2 mm por dia, enquanto \u00e1reas de pastagem apresentam taxas menores do que a metade disto (2,0 mm por dia). Essa diferen\u00e7a entre o quanto cada cobertura do solo libera de \u00e1gua para a atmosfera vem sendo estudada para avaliar quais s\u00e3o as poss\u00edveis consequ\u00eancias dessas altera\u00e7\u00f5es no balan\u00e7o h\u00eddrico e no clima. No exemplo, a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas de florestas por pastagem reduz a quantidade de \u00e1gua que vai para a atmosfera atrav\u00e9s de evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-586bfb9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"586bfb9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-indent: 36pt; text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"PT-BR\">Com imagens de sat\u00e9lites, portanto, a estimativa da evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o ganha novas propor\u00e7\u00f5es, permitindo an\u00e1lises em diferentes escalas regionais e globais para longos per\u00edodos, possibilitando uma maior compreens\u00e3o da din\u00e2mica existente entre a superf\u00edcie e a atmosfera e, por fim, as consequ\u00eancias das altera\u00e7\u00f5es de uso do solo.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Science is done collaboratively<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Esta pesquisa foi realizada pelo Grupo de Pesquisa de Hidrologia de Grande Escala, do Instituto de Pesquisas Hidr\u00e1ulicas (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufrgs.br\/iph\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IPH-UFRGS<\/a>), e financiada pela Ag\u00eancia Nacional de \u00c1guas (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/ana\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANA<\/a>) e pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient\u00edfico e Tecnol\u00f3gico (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/cnpq\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNPq<\/a>).<\/p><p><strong>Quer saber mais?
